Self-storage is a safe and convenient, do-it-yourself way of storing your possessions. Once you hire an individual storage unit from a self-storage company to store your goods in, either for short or long term, you are free to use the space as you choose.

AAA Platte storage facilities are easily accessible, secure, well-lit, clean and dry and well-maintained for your valuables. We offer storage units for private customers as well as to businesses. Follow these easy steps to hire a self-storage unit:

  1. Look up the AAA Platte Self Storage location: Our storage facility is conveniently located off East Platte Avenue in Colorado Springs. We are close to Fort Carson, Shriever Air Force Base and Peterson Air Force Base.
  2. Find the ideal size storage unit for you. We have everything from economical 5' x 5' units to spacious 10' x 20' ones. If you're unsure about how big a unit to reserve, check our estimator or call at 719-602-4802 to speak to a storage professional for guidance. Better yet, stop by and take a tour. And if you are ready to store, you can also reserve it immediately with our quick and convenient online system.
  3. We are happy to help with every aspect of your move, from supplies to transportation. All that is left to do is move your stuff into your unit and put a lock on the door.
Our standard unit sizes range from 5'x5′ to 20'x25′ to meet your storage needs and save you money. You can store everything in our units from one room of furniture to furnishings for your 3+ bedroom house. Use our Size Guide to correctly estimate how much each of our spacious units can hold. All size storage units are located indoors and can be easily accessed through secure PIN code.
When you rent from AAA Platte Self Storage, only you and the people you have authorized to do so can access your storage unit. You can restrict access to yourself unless you choose to grant someone else access to your unit, by simply designating an access code for them.

Outdoor storage units are accessed from outside and are generally all on one level, which often allows the convenience of drive-up access. Indoor storage units are housed within the building (often in multi-storied properties) and thereby better protected from the elements. Indoor units are accessible through industrial elevators.

All storage units at AAA Platte are located indoors, with large hallways and entryways for easy access.

Yes. Climate controlled units are available at our AAA Platte property. Climate control is a specialized feature for storage units to maintain a temperature range of 55 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit, using A/C and heat. Besides that, humidity is also monitored to help protect your stored belongings from damage.
Roll-up doors work similar to garage doors and can be accessed by lifting the door upwards. They are wider than swing doors and since they roll up overhead, it becomes easy to move things in and out. All of our units are located indoors, with large roll-up doors and entryways for easier unloading and access.

You can rent your unit for as long or short period of time as you need!

AAA Platte Self Storage gives you the flexibility of month-to-month rentals with no long-term commitment to lock you in. However, if you are going to be renting for a long period, be sure to ask our storage professional about long-term lease incentives.
